Our two souls
A cuisine worth discovering
Mexican cooking changes from region to region and is made of time, hands and fire. In Florence we tell its story while respecting its flavours, techniques and methods.
La Birria, con la sua lunga cottura, chili, spezie, carne tenerissima e consommé intenso. L’Al Pastor, con la sua marinatura e il caratteristico trompo che gira davanti al fuoco.
Tacos, quesadillas, burritos and arepas are different ways to meet these flavours. No single dish tells the whole story: every visit can be a new stop.

Wow, wow, wow! The birria tacos were DELICIOUS. Ask for the side of salsa macha if you want a good kick. 🌶️ We arrived close to closing time and the young woman from Venezuela welcomed us with such warmth and kindness. She made us feel like valued guests instead of rushed customers. If you’re scrolling through all the Tex-Mex options, stop and come here instead.

Amazing Venezuelan food! I got tajadas and an arepa, and I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious they were. It can be tricky to find high quality non-Italian food in Italy, but I will definitely be coming back here.

I’m a big taco fan. So glad I chose this place in Florence (of all places!). the plantain tajadas was the best plantain I’ve had. Then the beef tacos were unreal. Lastly the waiter was a real dude. Highly recommend.

Seriously amazing food. We have been in Italy for over a week and our first night in Florence we wanted something different than Italian food. Raices was beyond delicious. Shredded beef empanadas and the Cochinita Pibil tacos were the way to go. Get a spicy marg if you’re feeling frisky. You won’t regret stopping in here for a meal while in Florence!

Food was incredibly fresh, generous and delicious. My mom and I were walking up and down the streets to find a place to rest and eat after some shopping and found a home away from home. Cold drinks and the friendliest staff. Thank you! Get the micheladas and nachos!! Ask off the off menu extra spicy sauce if you can handle it.

As a Venezuelan traveling to Italy, this is some of the best latin food you're going to find. Authentic flavors from home satisfied my homesickness. The staff is extremely kind and the atmosphere is great with up-to-date music that makes me miss home. I plan to come back once more before I leave!

Amazing food, definitely a good fresh break from italian food. Service was also amazing, customer service was very attentive. The chicken tinga was full of flavor. Atmosphere was there too, definitely recommend if you are looking for some latin food, they have some venezuelan food and some mexican options too!!

As a former Texan married into a Mexican family, I was tired of pasta and pizza everyday and was craving Mexican food and spice. I found this while walking around and it smelled good so I planned to come back. I’m so glad I did. It actually satisfied my cravings for Tex Mex/mexican dishes and they even gave me a spicy sauce hotter than listed because I stated I needed spice. My food was brought to me and everyone was nice and accommodating. They spoke English which was helpful, but not expected! Great experience and hope to come back before departing
