1. Who we are

2. Use of the site

By browsing the site you accept these terms. The site provides information about our restaurants, shows the menu, allows bookings through third-party services and sells products online. You agree to use it lawfully, not to post offensive or illegal content in comments and not to attempt to compromise its security.

3. Content and intellectual property

Texts, photographs, logo and graphics on the site belong to Raíces | Latin Food or their respective owners and are protected by copyright. Reproduction without written permission is prohibited. Trademarks of products on sale belong to their respective manufacturers.

4. Menu, prices and allergens

The online menu is indicative: dishes, availability and prices may change in the restaurant without notice. Prices are in euros, VAT included. Allergen information is provided for guidance; if you have allergies or intolerances always inform staff before ordering, as all major allergens are handled in our kitchens and cross-contamination cannot be ruled out.

5. Bookings

Table bookings are handled by Quandoo, a third-party service with its own terms. If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, the table may be reassigned.

6. Reviews and comments

Comments published on the site are moderated. We reserve the right not to publish or to remove offensive, defamatory, promotional or irrelevant content. By posting a comment you grant Raíces the right to display it on the site.

7. General terms of online sale

The following terms apply to purchases made in the site’s Shop, under the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) and Legislative Decree 70/2003.

7.1 Orders

The order is concluded when you receive our confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse orders if the product is unavailable, the price is clearly wrong or fraud is suspected; in that case you will be fully refunded.

7.2 Prices and payment

Product prices are in euros, VAT included, delivery costs excluded unless stated otherwise; costs are shown before you confirm the order. Payments are processed through a secure third-party gateway; we do not store your card details. Accepted payment methods to be confirmed.

7.3 Delivery and collection

Products can be collected from our restaurants during opening hours or delivered to the address provided. Delivery times and costs are shown at checkout. Delivery areas and times to be confirmed.

7.4 Alcoholic products

Alcoholic beverages are sold only to people aged 18 or over. By confirming the order you declare you are of legal age; ID may be requested on collection or delivery.

7.5 No returns for change of mind

As we sell food, drinks and packaged food products, the right of withdrawal does not apply (art. 59 Italian Consumer Code) and we do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind, customer ordering errors or failure to collect. The guarantee for damaged, expired or wrong products remains valid, as described in the Store policy.

7.5 bis Allergens and liability

The customer must check the allergen list published on the menu and on product labels before ordering, and report any allergies or intolerances. Our dishes are prepared in kitchens where all major allergens are present and we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination. Raíces is not liable for allergic reactions or illness resulting from failure to consult the allergen information, failure to report allergies or incorrect storage of products after delivery or collection, without prejudice to mandatory liability under the law.

7.6 Warranty and faulty products

If you receive a damaged, expired or wrong product, contact us within 48 hours with a photo: we will replace it or refund you. The legal guarantee of conformity under the Consumer Code applies.

8. Limitation of liability

We do our best to keep the site up to date and working, but we do not guarantee it will be free of errors or interruptions. We are not responsible for the content of linked third-party sites.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumers, the competent court is that of the consumer’s place of residence or domicile. You may also use the European online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
